For our Family Fun last Saturday, we went downtown to the square and divided into two teams, each supplied with a camera and a check list of letters of the alphabet. When each team had taken photos of objects resembling all 26 letters of the alphabet (something like the photos offered on this website, just to give you an idea in case you have no idea what I am talking about), we met on the playground to compare photos and eat supper in the bandstand. Because it was rather chilly out, Clara had made two loaves of French bread into hot sandwiches (ham and cheese and crab melt) which we took straight from the oven, still in the foil, and then wrapped in a blanket and stashed in the “cooler.” They were amazingly warm by the time we ate.
We then went straight to Pamida and printed out all 52 photos so on Sunday afternoon, we could create an album to remind us of all of the fun we had.
