This week, we went on our annual trek to the Scarecrow Patch with our fellow area home-schoolers. Even though the weather was rather damp, windy and cold, we had a great time. I enjoyed the new tunnel slide, especially going down head first at Sheree’s suggestion. We made it through the corn maze without getting lost. Lydia managed the zip line without breaking her leg this year, praise the Lord. There were kittens in the dry, warm barn. The punkins were chunkin’. Speaking of pumpkins, we brought home nine of the cheery items.
And when we got home from this enjoyable but tiring event, we were greeted with a Flylady-tidy home and supper in the crock pot.
Ahhh….

Wish I could have tried that slide! What a wonderful family tradition. I need to go next year!
