On Saturday evening, we practiced the music we played for church on Sunday, ate some chili, then had some Family Fun game time. It’s sometimes difficult to find a game in which everyone can participate. Cranium is one of those, games, however. I had quite a jolly time, especially listening to the other team try to spell “Mississippi” backwards.
After we finished Cranium, we played several rounds of boys-vs.-girls Catch Phrase. The reason we played several rounds is that the boys kept requesting a re-match. ‘Nuff said.
(Okay, I have to acknowledge that one of the things that I don’t like about Catch Phrase is that there is no reward or penalty for being able to make your team guess the phrase. The only thing that “counts” is who is holding the game when the time runs out. So, we girls really can’t gloat about anything.)
Fun, fun, fun.

It was a fun night. Thanks for encouraging us to play. Yes, maybe we can find an alternative to the catch phrase – password???
