The Start of a New Year and a New Chapter

Today starts a new chapter in our lives. Because people and “life” are not always fair, reasonable or understandable, Joey is not returning to his teaching position this morning. We have many exciting possibilities awaiting us down the road, but, this morning, things just seem weird and surreal.

I am, once again, grateful for the routines that Flylady has helped us establish. We are facing this challenge with a clean home environment that is welcoming and peaceful. Our children’s daily routines can remain virtually the same. And when my mind starts wandering far and wide, I don’t completely lose my focus because I know what I need to do next.

Thanks, Flylady, for helping us feel somewhat normal.
