Spiritual Renewal and Scripture Memory

I’ve been memorizing 1 John (okay, okay, I know I’m starting small…) this year. It’s taking me longer than I expected to have it down pat. I think that’s because of my memorization method. I really wanted to memorize it by listening to it over and over, but I wanted to memorize the NASB translation and we only have NIV on tape (literally on tape). So, I’ve just been reading and repeating the written Word to whomever will listen to me.

Consequently, the pre-loaded NASB MP3 players from CBD are looking quite good right now.
