We had some major Family Fun this weekend when Amelia and Stephen and Clara and Levi brought Leah and Christine over for supper and games. We played Apples to Apples while Amelia occupied the younger set with a couple of Eric Carle games. But the real hilarity began when we played the Picture Game that the kids and I had played a few weeks ago. This was the game we got out of Family Fun magazine where each player starts drawing a picture and then 30 seconds later passes it to the next player who has 30 seconds to add to it, etc., etc. With 12 players of all ages, we ended up with some very funny pictures, especially ones involving very creepy old ladies crossing the road behind an ice cream truck and Nacho Libre who seemed to grow larger with each passing artist.
After all of that laughter, I slept well last night!
