Family Fun on a Monday Afternoon

This afternoon, Amelia, Clara, Jacob, Tim, Joey and I played our strings for a Senior Tea. It is always so. much. fun. to play music with my kids. I love picking out the program pieces and practicing. I love working together to get the dynamics adjusted. I love it when a piece sounds satisfyingly good — not perfect, just satisfyingly good.

Preparing to play involves planning, prioritizing and practicing. We have to accomplish the preparation bit by bit. We can’t put if off and cram it all in at the last minute.

Hmm…sounds a little like Flylady.
