Flylady and Taking Care of Oneself

If ever I am tempted to excuse myself from an activity that would be categorized as “taking care of myself” by labeling that activity as “selfish,” I hope I remember that when other folks in my life make sure they are taking care of themselves, I do not consider it selfish. In fact, I consider it a gift. It is a gift to others around us when we make time and an effort to care for ourselves as best we can.
