Missions Accomplished

All of the kitchen missions for this week have been completed. Woo-hoo! We had a crazy couple of days that were out-of-routine (the whole afternoon at the dentist, for example), so I set aside some time yesterday afternoon to complete the missions. Because I was doing several at once, I started to feel slightly overwhelmed. But, then I thought, No, just go in chronological order as if you had been doing one each day. That jump-started my focus and away I went.

I’ll say it again, Woo-hoo!

Good for you. I got behind when we out Thursday and am playing catch up today. But my weekly for today is just to change sheets and pledge and fabreeze things so I can do my Thursday chores today. I broke up my Home Blessing hour into five parts and so I usually mop on Thursday. I am on my way to get that done and I will be finsihed. Kelly’s misson today was to mop the kitchen floor so that helps. I might even find that 15 minutes to declutter today.

So — I feel like my life is out of control. My house is in a shambles (at least a shambles for me!) and my kids are sick and we are way out of routine, and my knee is better, but it still hurts. And then I read about you, my dear friend, who in the midst of all of the craziness around her, manages to complete her kitchen missions. I AM SO PROUD OF YOU and you inspire me. So, right now, I am heading into the living room to spend 15 minutes working on the pile of clothes I need to sort and give away. Thanks for being my friend.

Uh-oh, sick kids, eh? THAT explains why the Holy Spirit has put you on my mind all day! Seriously! I hope everyone feels better soon. I’ll be praying for you! Much love sent your direction! (How many exclamation points can I use?:-))
